Graphics and Technical Systems was established in Perth in 1987 and has been an independent software developer since that time.
Many of Graphic and Technical System’s current clients are in the Oil Industry, including K&M Technology - a Houston based Drilling Engineering company that is now part of Schlumberger. K&M engineers use systems developed by GTS on a daily basis on projects for oil companies all over the world. There are also individually customised versions of a production management system, developed for several UK oil companies and one each in India and Thailand. Locally, there are well planning and materials systems in use in several oil companies. We are also the software developer for DIPS Pty Ltd
In the past, clients have included government departments and, in particular, we developed RoMan, the database system used by nearly all local government bodies in Western Australia to manage their road networks. Other government clients include Main Roads, the Water Authority, Transperth and the Education Department.
We have also developed systems for a number of engineering firms, architects, circuit board manufacturers, Multi-level marketing companies, time share companies, mining companies and consultants.
Some pro bono database work has also been undertaking for sporting and social clubs to manage memberships lists and records.
We specialise in developing customised software, particularly database applications, which may include some or all of the following features
- Graphical output
- Engineering and other complex calculations
- Reports as PDF, Word or Excel files
- Import/export from text or Excel files
