Lookup Model Numbers

This window is displayed by clicking on the [Model number] Button in most screens where a list of model numbers is defined. Eg Manifests, BOMs, MSRs. It is also displayed from the [Go To] button on the Stock list screen.

Model numbers are the key value used to select stock items but since they are assigned sequentially by the program, they have no inherent meaning. This dialog allows you to easily find a particular model number by searching on various criteria.

1. Select the search criteria by clicking on the corresponding radio button.

2. Enter the search value in the adjacent field or by selecting from a drop down list

3. The matching records will be displayed in the grid.

4. The short description of the current record will be displayed below the grid to further help identify the item.

5. To select the highlighted item click on Select. You can also select an item by double clicking it.

6. If an image file is defined for a model number, it will be displayed if the Show images box is checked.

7. The list can be restricted to only Rental or only Consignment items by clicking on the radio buttons. In these cases, only the search by class option is allowed.
