This window is displayed by clicking on the Restore selected records option in the Files menu

It is used to replace single entities in the data directory with the version in a backup directory. An entity is a manifest, BOM etc.

This can result in the loss of recent changes, so should only be used in cases where the current entity has been corrupted or contains too many mistakes to correct manually.

When you use this option, the existing records are deleted and replaced by the ones in the backup and the export list is automatically adjusted. However for a manifest or MT the inventory will not be updated, so an inventory record for the locations involved in the restore and deleted manifests is required.

This form is modal. You must close it before you can access other forms or the menu

1.      Select the back up day to restore.

2.      Select the tables to restore from by clicking on one of the radio buttons.

3.      Select the entity in the header file, eg  well, manifest, MT etc.

4.      Select the related tables to copy.
The header just copies the one record. The others copy all related child records, after deleting the existing records.

If multiple entities are to be restored, they must be done one at a time.
