This window is displayed by clicking on the Registration option in the File menu. It will also be displayed if your copy of DIPS is not registered or has expired.

DIPS is available on a rental basis and each copy is registered to a particular PC, tied to its hard disk and network card (MAC) serial numbers.

This form is modal. You must close it before you can access other forms or the menu

1.      Some PCs, in particular laptops, may have many MAC addresses. If this is the case then a list of MACs will be displayed when the form is first opened.
It can also be displayed by clicking on [MAC addresses] button.
It is important to use a permanent one of these for registration. Ideally it should be the network card. If you have a wireless network, docking station and so forth you may have MAC addresses that change or may not be present all the time. If in doubt, disconnect your PC from any peripherals and note what MAC addresses are available. Reboot and check again. Choose one that was available both times.

2.      In order to get your codes initially, you should click on the [Email to DIPS] button. This will generate an email containing the hardware info for your PC. This will be used to generate your codes and an email with them will be returned to you.

3.      Your company name must be entered exactly, including Capitalisation, spaces and punctuation. It is a good policy to cut and paste from the email rather than retype.

4.      The registration code is a 10 digit code supplied BY DIPS Pty Ltd

5.      Likewise the expiry code will be supplied. This is a 10 letter code.

6.      Click on Save. If successful, the banner at the top of the screen will display the company name and the new expiry date.
