This window is displayed by clicking on the Compare button on the View Imports screen.
It is used to resolve failures that occur when changes are made to the same record at different sites.
1. The table and key value of the Import record being compared is displayed.
2. The values of each field in the two databases are displayed in the grid, one line per field. The “?” column has either “=” if the fields have the same values or “<>” if they are different. In this case the SDESC filed is the one that is different. The Import value appears to have a spelling error.
3. If the current value is correct click on the [Keep…] button. This will ignore the imported value. The user at the other site will then have to go through a similar process to Import the value from your site.
4. If on the other hand your value is wrong, then you click on the [Import…] button. This will import the value from the other site, overwriting your value and marking the record as imported.
5. The [Next…] button skips to the next record with a blank import time. This will happen automatically after clicking on the [Keep] or [Import] buttons, until the last blank record is reached.
